Tonight's lecture introduced the work of Joel Walker, associate of Judy Weiser and David Krauss. Joel is a psychiatrist and a photographer. He has developed his work from an intial 'induction' into photography in a year out, before starting his practice, on a world tour taking photographs all the way. He has introduced two main areas of contribution to the field; photoprojectives (the use of photographs in exhibiton and later, in personal or group working). The second contribution is using photographs (taken by Joel) to support people making photostories about life events (life is a journey). These photostories are stored on his web site -
