I hope that watching the video tonight made some things clearer.  There are many approaches to photography as research and what we saw tonight is a different approach, psychology based.

When I got home tonight I looked up Vivian Maier (Photographer/Nanny) and found

1.  A utube link to many of her photographs 
2.  A blog kept by the guy who has found her negatives and is scanning them with another load of photos. 

It occured to me that many of these photos would be highly suitable for a collection of projective photos for those of you who are beginning to compile your own set of photos for use with groups!
